so I'm about to buy myself a new laptop
it has to be able to play recent games with good specs etc.

i found one by looking in a PC magazine but i don't know whether the brand is good and reliable..

my question was, has any of you one of this computers?
and do you think i should or should not do it?

Get slower RAM. 1066MHz RAM is not only a waste of money, but also a waste of battery time. DDR667 will suffice very well.
The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. If that is what you want to hear then there is no problem with that, but by adding so much additional material (by way of harmonics and intermodulation) you have a tailored sound system, not a hi-fi. - Rod Elliot, ESP

My brother has bought a laptop of XXODD and after 1,5 years his gpu crashed. They replaced in just 2-3 days, so what i experienced it's a good brand.
