Yes, I know this thread is kinda along the lines of the "post your specs" thread, but I think it's different enough to be a seperate thread. And yes, there are threads already on 3DMark06, but I'd rather not hijack one of those threads as they are discussing the program rather than a thread to post scores in.

Post your 3DMark scores here. If you don't have 3DMark / know what it is, it's a utility to test the performance of your computer, mainly your video card.

You can download the free versions here:

This is the latest version that came out today. It's designed for the latest and greatest systems and video cards. Expect to get a low score on this.

* 3DMark05 -- http://www.futuremark.com/download/?3dmark05.shtml
The version that's probably best fitting for most systems here. It's still not an easy test, but at least you can get a decent score.

* 3DMark03 -- http://www.futuremark.com/download/?3dmark03.shtml
This version is starting to show it's age and unless you have a crappy system, expect to get a pretty good score.

I'll start with my aging system:

Stock CPU, heavily overclocked video card. It was artifacting a bit on the forest level, but oh well.

* 3DMark05: 4093 -- http://service.futuremark.com/compare?3dm05=1659971
Ehh, I'm still working on this one. This score with from all stock speeds. However, with an overclocked CPU and GPU, I scored 5429, but the overclocking of my CPU caused my RAM timings to go to shit, so I dropped the CPU overclocking. Haven't run it with stock CPU / overclocked video card yet since I got my 2nd gig of RAM.

Haven't run it again since I got my 2nd gig of RAM, but I doubt it'd change it much, if at all. Stock CPU and video card speeds, so I need to run it again with an overclocked video card.

I guess my poor little geforce 6200 just cant handle it. even after overclocking.

ouch that cpu test was painful and i have one of the better ones out there aswell.
i got 2240 points on 3d mark06.
my system is:
amd athlon 3700+ san diego clocked at 2.2ghz
Nvidia Geforce 6800GT running at stock settings
Superfast, Monster Crucial Balistix Ram (2GB) running at 2.2.2.5 timings

I'm planning on getting the Nvidia 7900 when it comes out in march, that thing looks awesome!

Im too scared to even test the 06...got ~800 on 05, 06 would probably freeze teh comp.

3DMark '06 bluescreens my Windows XP 64 (yes, I do graphics) system for some reason. '06 just seems to be a placeholder until Windows Vista comes out with 3DMark '07. I don't know about any of you, but I believe I am going to keep a regular XP system sitting alongside anything with Vista's notorious DRM.

WTF, why is your memory speed so low? Stock on my 6800 GT OC is 370/1000 and I'm running 425/1100 right now. o_O
