As far as anything sinister...nothing either of the two parties does surprises me much. Whether it was deliberately allowing US forces to be attacked in the 40's, MASSIVE election fraud in Chicago in the 60's, illegal wiretaps in the 70's, illegal sales of arms in the '80s, the illegal sale of technology to an adversary in exchange for campaign funds in the 90's, or illegal wiretaps again in the 00's. Both parties are completely crooked. What you need to get your mind around, Marconius, is that your party is no better than the other one; so your righteous indignation doesn't really ring true when you throw these conspiricy theories around.

The only way I see our government changing from the stupid two party system is a revolution and most of Americans still believe that the politicians do what the voters want. It is the very rich and the cooperations that pull the strings. Why are there so many foods that are bad for you and the FDA does nothing, because the food and drug industry has the FDA wrapped around there finger. The rest of the government is the same way.

and almost every other News source is Heavy left.
So if Fox wanted to be ( heavy Right ) it would have my blessing but it wouldn't balance the News that we get.

Here is the simple answer, they are politicians, and i.e. they are all corrupt. If not, then why will they not have a pay decrease, same retirement package as everyone else in the US and enact term limits, eliminate the kickbacks and eliminate the lobby’s, and eliminate being able to attach pork to bills and such. One item, one vote. It should be required to print who voted and how each time on the front page of every newspaper then everyone would see how often they are represented. This is for Democrats and Republicans. There is truly no difference, they are corrupt. When they are found guilty it should be a set policy across the board. Death penalty (call it domestic treason) forfeit all assets to the government and that family is banned from public office for three generations. That would get their attention. I don’t care what side they are on, they are corrupt!

Honestly, I could vote 8 billion times over for a republican and the state would still go dem. Why? Because of the electoral college and secondly i have no say in any laws the federal government passes. I mean i can vote to regect my own city/state but allowing me to vote in a FEDERAL law would be ludacris.
Also, i refuse to believe that this country could not become a direct democrocy. Look at Africa, they still have direct elections and now you try and tell a country like America can't do that.
Thirdly, niether party is "better" they both equally suck it just depends on your veiw point. For example a black male age 18-21 would typically vote democrat (honestly i can't stand when people say republicans are racist. the Republicans where the original anti-slavery party, i can't help it some of the member are dumbasses)
All i can say in the end is.... Buy a gun by the time this country is through you'll need it.
