I actually acquired it when it first came out, played through the main game once, started a new game and did several side quests (but not all of them), and then deleted it all from my harddrive. I wanted to give it a whirl first, see if I'd like it. Turns out I loved it, so I'm gonna buy it soon, along with any DLC (assuming I can spare the moneys).

So, pirate = rent! If it's good then just buy it, they deserve it!

If they want to take money from Microsoft in exchange for exclusive dlc then they can expect PS3 copy owners to illegally acquire it; so that they can get the same experience in the Fallout world as other customers, rather than be treated as second class.

is there any way to disable the fucking mouse acceleration they added with the last patch?!  there's no visible way to change it and it's driving me nuts.

Ok I got the game but there's two bugs with it that I found that are very annoying, First the Regulator HQ girl that pays you out went out and started drifting further and further away from the hq and I can't find her anywhere.... So could someone help me with a Console command on that or something ?
And I accidentally enslaved Susan Lancaster before I convinced Tenpenny tower that the ghouls were ok and now I can't find her
Any console command that could help on that ?

Yea is the radscorpions it happened to me but he never opend the gate. Then i got attacked from the behind luckily i saved the game alttile before i got to dave.

After hours of exploring, I finally felt that it was time to finish the main story line.  Spoiler (highlight to read):
I thought the ending was pretty good, but I was a little disappointed that you, as the player, didn't play a bigger role in the final battle.  You basically followed the robot and let him kill everything that moved because of the numerous explosions, which made aiming too unsteady.  I was also pissed because I accidentally went into the wrong door in Raven Rock and was not able to get the bobble head that was there, leaving me with 19.  Other than that, I was really impressed. 

Also, for anyone who hasn't been there, I'd highly recommend visiting SatCom Array NN-03d (it's just east of Fort Constantine, towards the northwest corner of the map) and doing a bit of exploring.  There was so much funny stuff in that little area, it was great.

I'm gonna do that in a little bit. I just got to Fort Constantine and I'm in the CO HQ...I know the T-51B armor is down here somewhere.

If you want caps, do the "Reilly's Rangers" quest.  After you complete the quest, she gives you caps for every location you have discovered on your map.  From the two times I've visited her, I think she's given me a little under 4k caps for ~130 locations.

I racked in tons of money by just picking up a bunch of weapons and outfits throughout my journeys doing side quests. Sooo many hunting and assault rifles from super mutants, and a ton of raider and merc apparel, + a high repair skill got me loads of high quality stuff. Every so often I'd go back to Megaton and sell my shit to Moira and get 400~600 caps each time.

I made a lot of money that way too, but then it seemed like all the vendors suddenly had less caps when I went to see them.  I'd wait a good 3-5 days (in game) before going to see Moira or Gob and they'd only have 100-200 caps each.  At that point in the game it wasn't that big of a deal, but it still kind of sucked.
