Because that's what it's based around. It's not supposed to be a shoot 'em up or an FPS Shooter. It's supposed to be based around her athleticism/wall scaling/etc.

Premise sounds interesting enough, along with the fact its being made by DICE, this looks like a must have.

Yep.

Plus, this little mini-magazine called "The Way" came with my PC Magazine said that she can't just wait on the ledge, either. You've got a "momentum meter" (whether you can see it or whether it's hidden, I have no idea) which determines how far you can jump.

Fucking awesome.

This game is going revolutionize FPS's.

It looks way cool, but I'd like to know what the difficulty would be like. I mean the jumps in the demo look easy, but they were obviously rehearsed. Hopefully it would be slightly more difficult than it looks, yet still not overwhelming.

Also how do you get motion sickness from a video game? I mean, even doing crazy jet stunts in BF2 doesn't give me any felling of motion sickness.

I just played the demo and it's pretty fun. The controls are really pretty basic so it won't be too difficult. The thing I like about it is it tests your awareness. You can look around when making moves, like jumping across pipes along the wall, but some instances you can't look around and you just kind of have to know what's there, like wall running, jumping off the wall, and grabbing onto a ledge opposite the wall. I'm not sure what the replay value will be like but the actual running around is more fun in this game than in Assassin's Creed. It's probably more of a game you rent instead of buying but that doesn't mean it won't be good.

Its pretty awesome, pity its a short demo. Controls where alrite, I turned off runner vision and made it more enjoyable. The game feels like its smooth. Iv played the demo 20 times or so now, making speed runs, getting the flow of the game, pulling of cool moves. I hope DICE stand by what they said when they mean they will incorporate what they have learnt from this in BF3.

I'll probably get this on PC, the lack of Anti-Aliasing on the 360 and I think that this game will benefit with with WASD and Mouse.
