Why wasn't this game ported to the pc?
I used to buy games play through them for a bit and return them unless they were actually worth keeping.Poseidon wrote:
I'm probably going to sell it back. I'll probably pick it up used at a later date, but it doesn't serve much use to me anymore...I played through it, got both storyline endings (Canon and Non-Canon), and got 520 achievement points.
Would I like to keep it? Sure. But there are other games I want atm, and selling back this game will give me money that I need so I can get it (NHL 09, ftr).
It's still a great game, I'm just low on cash.
But you'd burn them first, right? (if they were pc games anyway)wah1188 wrote:

You wanna be mashing on the Q button in order to hit someone?TheAussieReaper wrote:

I read somewhere it probably will be, but I don't think it'll be good. It's one of those games that's really meant for controllers.
ok so this was an extremely fun game to play and I'm not to familiar with that style of control, i basically button mash which isn't good but i beat it. I really wish that there was a multiplayer
im honsetly getting a little tired of being tapped to death... getting jammed into a corner getting knocked down before i can get back up 20+ times until i'm dead blows
beat the game in 6 hours....not much for 70€ but its fun to play and the story is awesome too. the controls are very easy and i like the costumes and force upgrade thing very much. 9/10 points from me
I'm a total star wars fanboy so the story line was completely 100% worth it for me, oh and finally being able to pick someone up, impale them on my saber yoda style, shock them emperor style and then force push them into a group of others to explode and take the entire group with them is freakin fun.
yah its a great game /easy. I do like knocking people down with objects over and over till I get them to fall off the cliff.

Yeah, back then when I heard about this game, I saw it on Wiki and it said it was going to be released for PC. Guess I read it wrong or there was wrong information on the Wiki, which isn't surprising since the game was in early development.TheAussieReaper wrote:

According to that they don't plan on releasing it for the PC.OmniDeath wrote:

They said there wouldn't be a GTA IV for the PC either (or something like that), so... we'll see.OmniDeath wrote:

I wouldn't get it on PC though anyways. It doesn't seem like the kinda game that'd work on PC (due to the button mashing/combos/quicktime events) and only really works with controllers.
It'd be interesting though.

Oh, and btw those cost as much as the corded ones for an Xbox and they're a lot better.
You're missing my point...in order to play on the 360/PS3, you need a controller. Not everyone on the PC has a gamepad.Miggle wrote:

It´s absolutely no problem to play such games with mouse/keyboard setup. It´s just that most development teams are too damn retarded to port it well.Poseidon wrote:

So I caved and bought it on an impulse, and me and a mate took turns playing it through for about an hour.
First impression: SO MUCH JUSTICE!
Note: I'm a large star wars fan boy.
That said the first level was PERFECT. Not so much in terms of design, but in terms of sheer cool Darth Vader cutting down Machete wielding wookies to the Imperial March, OWNAGE. Got up to the loader walker thing before we quit (had to go home). So far - love it.

Because we all know that the PC can't use controllers. (j/k)Poseidon wrote:

When the component upgrade is actually cheaper than the game you want to play on the PC, that argument becomes irrelevant.Poseidon wrote:

Yes, PC's can have controllers. Obviously. But they are not MANDATORY to play PC games. They're optional. For consoles, they ARE mandatory.
Darth Sidious with a blue lightsaber? Dream on Sam
