What I really hate about all those shows is they seem to show everything besides football. I do not care about this dude playing for moms back in the ghetto or this dude playing for this and that. Football. It is all I want to see.

Mythical national championships. Its kind of easy when they are unduly given an opportunity every year to compete for it, and USC gets denied said opportunity in the process (or other deserving teams.) Its like the system has been overcompensating for the one snub the SEC received in 2005. I vote we look at more important numbers, like bowl team winning percentage for recent years (.750 for 2008/2009; Pac-10 was 5-0), and record against other conferences in the past ten years (7-11 against Pac-10).
Its not as if I don't think the SEC is good. I do. I just think that they are being hailed as the greatest thing ever because the media wants them to be, not because anyone has looked rationally at the relevant numbers and facts and determined as such. I likewise dislike how no one seems to have raised serious contention with the pathetic OOC schedules SEC teams play, or minimally those who express the mainstream views. Its hard to take Florida seriously with Charleston Southern and FIU on their OOC docket, at least from a standpoint of critical thought. I give Georgia and Tennessee props for actually trying to face opponents with some semblance of a pulse, but the rest of the conference is a joke.
And lol, since you are a Georgia fan, while hypocritical to dislike the slobbering over Tebow while not disliking similar fawning over the SEC, it is entirely understandable.

Both of you need help. CFB is a huge corporate machine. There is no "best conference" since computer points choose who plays whom. And, it is full of cheaters and that is a fact you cannot argue. How hard can it be to recruit someone to Florida versus Illinois? Ever been to Chicago in the winter versus Florida? Come on. It is so stupid to argue about it as it is inherently unfair by nature, yet you guys arguing about it feeds the corporate ESPN boo-ya machine. fail.
