yeah i know, but the more you sit back, the less time you have to wait, and if you do win a pot, you're double up wouldnt be as big if you took the risk earlier.Jenspm wrote:
Well sit back and wait for something worthy of a risk. Ended up going with KJ and was beaten by a QQ.HaiBai wrote:

I have a hard time remembering the rules when I do get sucked into a poker game. Love fiddling around with the cards, though.

Well, it looks to me like you got lucky that exilibris1418 didn't get lucky and suck out on his Ace. That would have crippled your stack. However, it looks like he would have called just about anything you bet since you led out all-in from early position and he called with A-rag. Normally, if I don't want someone to call a high pair like Tens or better, I would probably bet about 4 - 5 times the big blind. From early position, there's no telling what someone's going to call your raise with. Overall, I would play just a little bit more defensively from early position and not risk more than 33% of your stack on just one pair pre-flop.
Either way, nice hand!

You do realize that KK is the 2nd best hand in poker preflop right? It continues to be the best hand about 80% of the time postflop against random hands & other premiums. If you can't get your money in with KK pre then you must like burning money.Guardian_Ekim wrote:
