yeah it works good here, I think between 1000 and 1200 PPD.
let me make a note here. it works well if you run vista. If you run XP you need a whole core to run the GPU client, so it's better to use the uni-processor onemenzo2003 wrote:

Wow so this uses like all the pcs that it connects to or w/e as one giant supercomputer to research diseases and stuff? If so such a brilliant idea and i might grab it soon. What sort of internet usage does it have?

not a lot. A couple MBs a day. Really depends on the type of client you're running. GPU will need more than a single CPU, large WUs will need more than small ones, etcWhat sort of internet usage does it have?

maybe I should add; there are actually a lot of folders that use 56k dialup connections. It can't use all that much then

Got the SMP Client instead of the other one, ~1845ppd now on my Q6600 @ stock. CUDA drivers caused instability during gameplay so I reverted to my older drivers.
Sexy. I just added my ps3 and my home pc . . . and I'm the IT director at work, so Monday everyone's computers will need me to install "upgrades" on them. Watch my points skyrocket BITCHES!
