TDK: 9/10, good acting, good plot, Joker character construction was impressive, basically everything was good but the portrayal of Gotham, which sucked. Watching the marching through the streets and mistaking it for the St. Patrick's Day scene from The Fugitive means the producers didn't do a very good job transforming Chicago.

If you liked 'In Bruges' check out 'I went Down', it was an independent Irish film that was quite successful in Australia apparently...so much so that you can get it on DVD there and you can't even get it on DVD here in Ireland. It was Brendan Gleeson's breakthrough role, he's hilarious in it.TheAussieReaper wrote:

The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. If that is what you want to hear then there is no problem with that, but by adding so much additional material (by way of harmonics and intermodulation) you have a tailored sound system, not a hi-fi. - Rod Elliot, ESP

Went to the movies the other day to see The Dark Knight. I really enjoyed the movie and Heath Ledger's performance. A friend recommended I watch Ledgers's last movie before Dark Knight called Candy. While it is a bit traumatic to watch, it is a great movie.
