[BF:BC] Unlocks fiasco.

Load of bollocks tbh.

Get an unlock for the find all 5, get an unlock for hitting Rank 4 in demo, get unlocks for pre-orders, get unlocks with gold edition...

Why couldn't they have kept it simple, and let everyone just get unlocks for playing the damn game, as opposed to jumping through x amount of hurdles.

I don't have the game yet, so i don't know if this unlocks are available to everyone, it just takes longer, or if they're simply in the game for thos who ticked all the boxes, but it's a load of bollocks the way it has been implemented.

They shouldn't bother with the unlocks. I dislike the "rank up, get an unlock" and unlocks in general, just give the all the weapons to the players automatically.

I disagree with that, unlocks tied to ranks allow to to shape your style of play as you progress - all the weapons at once could be pretty overwhelming, especially if you haven't played FPS before, or much.

Look, Poseidon, if they give you the Sword of the Frozen Dick for pre-ordering the Imanerd expansion of WOW, I really don't care. But in a multiplayer FPS giving weapons for money is bollocks.

I've done all the final 5 stuff i think, and have two codes saved away.

I assume the other unlocks are given to me after a) going on multiplayer, and b) checking my stats after a game?

Took me three days to work my way around all the unlocks I was ''due'' and it still isnt right. So far as I can tell 2142 is still not recognised on the veterans page, though I do have a 1 next to my name now

I don't know what they do in Argentinean stores, but you don't pay anything extra here when you pre-order...you basically just put a deposit down. So I don't know what you're on about.

Pre-order sniper isnt really even that great. It's basicly a weakened SVD. You can unlock the same exact gun with a different look but is silenced. Really you didnt miss much. The unlocks are garbage except for the M60

And MASSIVE DAMAGE. I love it. I feel rambo. If your playing at the top of your game you can atleast get 12 kills before you die.
