I just got the game so low rank here, and still doing SP.  Meh, I like it for the destruction and awesome sounds, other then that the controls are pretty awkward IMO, but most FPS console games are anyways...

Those gun efficiency badges are easy, so don't be proud of receiving them.

Yep, just crouch in a corner and shoot.

You're right with the M16 though.

But, the XM8 LMG > MG_thingy > M249 > M60

The XM8 LMG is awful compared to the other guns.  The M60 is the most well-rounded LMG, really quick kills in CQC situations and good enough accuracy to place fire into the distance to scare people off.  The MG36 is damned accurate and good for headshots, but ultimately is weaker than the M60.  You trade off firing rate/accuracy for damage when you bounce between the two.

Other Faves per class:
Assault = M16...great long distance and CQC kills, followed by the XM8 if I want to play with a little variety.
Demo = NS2000 for instant kills and CQC, USAS12 if I find I'm in longer distance battles throughout the match but need to stay Demo.
Sniper = SVU for quick firing corrections, and more damage than the Voss.
Specialist = I switch between the UMP and XM8C for variety...ultimately I use the UMP more.

I got the game like a day ago, you bet I'm gonna be damn proud of my newb badges.

Off to go finish the campaign, I started on hard...should of began on normal. Since I played the demo O thought it'd be easy, I realize now the demo was just a bunch of noobs running around not knowing what there doing.

+I'll unlock the M60 next...
