As I was reading opinions about the 2 new maps, the thought crossed my mind that BF2 has essentially 3 expansions, counting SF. 2142 has only NS, so I think we need more. Would any of you like to see 2142:SF? If so, what new features?

- New Armies, maybe an African army and others, I'd like to see an SAS team (maybe combined with other Special Forces because of the storyline)

I would like to see a map where they are set over a active volcano or theres been an earthquake and lava is flowing underneath and you can see steam coming from the crack and throughout the map theres steam pockets that if you're standing on one it woudl send you 50 feet in the air

Weapons: RDX launcher, like the RDX shotty, but able to launch full RDX packs which stick to target (tank, low flying air transport/gunship)

Mmmmmmore tactical weaponry like flashbangs etc. (gas would be ineffective) maybe like a way to launch the grappling hooks from a gun so it could go higher/farther or a tripwire mine that you can string across an area and *trip* BOOM! with the explosive power of a grenade. NVGs would be cool as well.
OH and a Devil's Perch 2142 would be fucking WIN, especially if they took the boat idea and ran with it, and a new kind of jetski as mentioned above. Maybe a type of baby heli would be cool like the little birds in Bf2: AF.
Speaking of teams they need a fucking American faction for Christ's sake. You gotta admit a marine in the year 2142 would be 1337. Surely they haven't all died in the snowstorm. And I want a sniper rifle big enough to kill chopper pilots damn it (like a laser).

2142 versions of SF maps ... veeerah nice! High five! EA really needs to do that. Or some nice group of guys that can make a sweet mod ...

this is not 2142 until there is some sort of laser. the static AT gun got close, but thats a railgun not a laser.
