Isn't buying a 24" screen for your EeePC a little killing it's purpose?

It's only what.. double the size of it..

Judging by the middle picture, the screen isn't for the EeePC.

The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. If that is what you want to hear then there is no problem with that, but by adding so much additional material (by way of harmonics and intermodulation) you have a tailored sound system, not a hi-fi. - Rod Elliot, ESP

I did not buy, but I recieved this today:

https://i205.photobucket.com/albums/bb8/Freezer7Pro/IMG_0060.jpg

My HP Compaq nx9420!!!

It's an awesome upgrade from my old lappy, a 2004 HP compaq (Yes, small C back then) nx7010, 1.6 Pentium M (1MB L2), 512MB RAM, 40GB HD and Radeon 9200, and a 1280x800 screen in a 15.4" package.

This one has a T5600 1.83GHz (2MB L2), 2GB RAM, 200GB HD and a Radeon X1600m, and a 1440x900 screen in a 17" package. In other words, .

Funny, how some random swiss dude happens to have a laptop of the same brand and series as I. I should become a Compaq nx series whore

https://i205.photobucket.com/albums/bb8/Freezer7Pro/IMG_0059-1.jpg

New one on the left, old one on the right. Curse the swiss for their "QWERTZ" keyboards. Had to swap Z and Y. It's a miracle that you can just change input in the OS.

Now, let us all sit dow for a minute and remember:

MAX IS AWESOME!!!

You will probably only have to replace it once.

I ordered a PSU (corsair 750W, tho may of been a bad idea since it isnt modular, the seasonic is dead if you remember I said to you) with the 4850 and apparantly that delayed the order

I'll put pics of the whole machine up when its finished xD
