I'm ready to take my copy back to target >/ I'm going to try it again tonight and see if my opinion changes. I hate that you have to hold down the right mouse to use sights, I didn't see an option to change it to stay on sites without holding it down. I hate that crouch stays crouched when not holding it. if only I could reverse crouch and gun sights. the malaria effects make me feel like I have malaria! (good job on that I guess) but fuck them for putting it in the game. and the in and out of car animations are annoying as hell, and the repair animations >/ I don't need that kind of realism in a shooter. if I wanted to drive cars I would get a damn driving game. they put alot of unnecessary fluff in this game.

I can get used to most of the control issues I have, but I want it to be more like BF2 controls >( at least cod4 gave you options to change the crouch and sights so they would stay on or not while letting go of the button. this just seems like GTA in the freaking Savannah. and I never got into GTA

if anyone in Minnesota wants to come to my shop I will sell it for $10 under retail. I cant be asked to package it up and mail it to someone. I should have read the reviews and such better since in hindsight I would have known it was not my type of game, but I was so ready for something new that I just went out and got it.

Make them respawn every three days or so, just make it so that I don't have to kills the same guys when I go someplace and come back.

And how am I so picky? I'm pointing olut the things that really bug me, so is everyone... You don't have the game yet, right? You seem to be the only one saying it's good.

Every day would be good I think. Or day and a half.

I don't mind them not sleeping at night, otherwise missions would be a lot easier. I am just so sick of traveling everywhere. I spend more time driving a virtual damn jeep than shooting or anything.

Would you prefer being lost? The GPS cars allow you to know where you're going without using a HUD. It's a good thing.

The GPS is awful though, I use my map whenever I'm in a vehicle. The GPS takes away from the immersion, which was one of the things they were so proud of in the interviews.

And healing is not the same as using a syrette. I only have 5 of them, I'd prefer to pull the bullet out of my arm. I lost a buddy because I ran out of syrettes.

The GPS in most cars is the one you carry round with you. You kinda insta attach/unnattach it. Only the really flashy jeeps with gold rims have gps in them before you get in.

The stupid thing is the diamonds though. Why do they all have satellite tracers on them?

not to mention they only have like 1 or 2 in them most of the time, which makes it really annoying to go out of your way to get them.

monocle was obviously made for consoles, this feels like a port.

They don't seem to have done anything other than remap the controls and take out autoaim.

Yeah the mouse is messed up in the game, I turn the sensitivity right now on my G5 and it's fine, but it's bloody solid to use the silenced pistol to get a headshot when in a firefight.

And yeah I agree the monacle goes nuts when you use it, I rarely use it.

Me too, I use it with how I said before, use sniper to aim at head, switch to pistol, bam dead. It's good fun.

Wish they would make some more machete animations too, sick of like slicing and not seeing anything.

I had more fun playing multi player tonight then I did playing single player. I just hate all the travel time involved in single player. the multi is a bit cheesy but it's fun and different, for me anyway.

Editor is good fun and extreemly easy to use. Just open it up from where you installed the game.

I've got a shadows problem. It makes this wierd checkered shadow across the whole map in editor. So i deselect the show shadows option, but when i test the map they just come back.

Maybe update drivers?
* edit: yep, driver update fixed the shadows. Runs smoother now aswell.
