Mine is very good. I'm not colour blind and as far as I know, I have perfect vision - despite a history of poor eye vision running in my family (this, however, is generally seen {no pun intended} in later years)

How's your eyesight?

My friend's blood vessel burst in his eye causing it to become full of blood. It wasn't very nice! What "happened" to you?

Astigmatism is when your eye's cornea isn't as smoothly-elliptical as it should be. According to Google, "this generally results in blurred vision" which would explain your eye problem.

Man, my eyes truly suck. I am thinking of getting contact lenses, or even doing a laser surgery. Especially, because, I am going to university this year.

Chuck Yeager was 20/10. He could read at 20 ft what people could read at 10 ft. So yes you can be a pilot. You could even be a commercial pilot.
As long you astigmatism isn't really bad... you might even qualify as military.

Astigmatism means your eyeball is no longer spheroid and symmetrical. Gives you blurry vision.

Same thing. Mine was caused by looking at one of HurricaИe's posts (now deleted).

Longsighted, too many dioptres to be a pilot. Unfortunately the number counts as before surgury regardless of one's sight after any surgery. Thus disallowing anybody who ever falls out of these limits (+5 to -8 dioptres). I wear contact lenses from time to time.

My vision is, and never has been blurry.

Only when i'm focusing on an object far away sometimes i get double vision, E.G. my hands/arms.

Also, when i look out of the corner of my eyes, i see my nose, but it looks translucent. Is this normal?

I have myopia. And it is due to playing the sega master system when I was about 4 til about 7, every day I came home from school. Then I moved onto computer games. I don't think it is likely to improve with me about to get a desk job infront of a pc all day.

So contact lenses ftw. (prob surgery when I can afford it)
