Well as I just filled mine for a cuppa, and my step-mum moaned at me for pouring the water in the spout, and not taking the lid off and pouring it in there, I wondered how you guys do it.

A button on the handle opens the lid, there is no spout anyway, just a little extension that makes it possible to pour out if it.

Some kind of electronic kettle that boils water in 30 seconds.

I used it 2 minutes ago, making instant noodles

Me. Quicker, don't have to take the lid off, then hold the lid whilst holding the kettle and turning the tap on. It makes sense.

Some times I do both. Depends on what I'm feeling. Some kettles can handle it, some cannot. Learn from experience the best way, and best of all enjoy your fucking coffee.

Usually through the top - but sometimes through the spout if I am using tap water.

The whole point is that u use the top, there is normally some sort of filter in the spout bit, meaning if u pour it in the spout it filters the water going in, but when you pour it back into a cup it picks back up the dirt.

All water has dirt in it. It doesnt matter how processed it is. There will always be chalk in water in chalky areas.

Null.

In the United States, where we have technology, I use this neat little machine which boils me some water in about 15 seconds.

Quick, hot water, minus the horrible high-pitched whistle of a kettle.

Pu' the ket'le on.

The top, of course, although I can't recall any instance of actually using a tea kettle.

Haha. You make me laugh.

When I was in the US in 2003, you guys were miles behind us kitchen-technology wise. Everybody still used toaster ovens and shit like that.
